My name is Venus Nappi and I own PaceDrivingSchool. I am the proud mom of 2 teenage girls, a wife of a great husband and a small business owner. I have been teaching driver education for about 15 years. I teach in the class room and behind the wheel. I have taken 2 skid courses for training on front wheel, rear wheel and all wheel vehicles. I also help people with disabilities get back to driving, whether they use adaptive equipment or just need to get in back the car. I own 2 driving schools 1 in So Portland and 1 in Portland.
I am currently the V.P. of the Maine Driver Education Association and serve on the board for the New England Traffic Safety Education Association, which includes 6 New England states and a rep. from New York.
I volunteer time speaking to schools and businesses for Operation Lifesaver, which is rail road safety, as well. I believe I have one chance to make a difference to my students and have an impact on their life when it comes to choices they may have when driving. Making them think before they act is the thought process I hope and challenge them to make.
My school motto is to "Pace Yourself" and that is for all aspects of their life.
I and my educators are all state licensed. I go to at least two conferences a year, my instructors go to at least one a year. I do this so we have the latest and most current education and educational training to best teach our clients.
